HPAS Fundraising Initiatives

FlipGive Campaign
FlipGive is a free fundraising platform designed for schools, sports teams and community groups to earn funds by leveraging our normal shopping activities.
It’s super easy! Once registered, just use the FlipGive app or webpage to navigate to your online retailer of choice (e.g. Indigo, Amazon, Home Depot, etc.) and every dollar you spend translates into a donation that supports our HPAS community.
To get started, simply follow these steps:
- Click here to access the team signup page.
- Enter our team invite code: VXXY7J and click Join.
- Verify the team name: High Park Alternative Parent Council 2022-2023 and click Join This Team.
- Enter the required information to create your FlipGive account, or log in if you already have one.
From there, simply follow the steps to complete your account registration.
Scholastic Books
If you want to continue to buy books through Scholastic (they often have great prices especially for picture books) you can still use Kelly’s class code!
Not all of our teachers have opted to run Scholastic this year. If a teacher in your child(ren)’s classes has, of course use their code, but if they haven’t and you’re buying from Scholastic using Kelly’s code gives her a credit that she can use to purchase books for her classroom, and continue to support our younger readers (this year and in years to come).

Mabels Labels
For kids, losing things is a pretty common experience at school (or camp, or just on a trip to the park). A legible label can be make it much easier for lost items to be reunited with their owners.
This is a new fundraiser for us, but when we brought it up HPAS teachers were enthusiastic! We were told that Mabel’s Labels are among the best out there. They have labels for clothes, shoes, water bottles, mini-labels for small items and more.

under High Park Alternative Junior School School Council (Toronto)
This will be a long-running fundraiser, as we want to promote it to next year’s JK families, as well as making it easy for our current community to get labels for summer camp, or even next September’s new clothes and items. We’re starting now and running until the end of September 2025.
We’ll promote this again near the end of the school year, but if you decide you need labels between now and then go ahead and order.

Envelope Fundraiser

At our last Parent Council (PC) meeting, teachers presented a list of items they wanted the PC to support financially. The amount exceeded the current PC’s available funds. We are requesting community contributions from the HPAS community to help cover this cost, while we plan community building fundraising initiatives for future funding requests.
Please contribute whatever you can to your child’s learning experience by making a donation.
